Remastered on 180g vinyl, in a hardback cover, additional plain white sleeve, obi strip and info sheet (both in Japanese language).

Track A4 is titled "U69" (sleeve reverse), but wrongly titled "U 69" (sleeve front/vinyl labels). Track B4 is correctly titled "Brewer's Castle" (sleeve), but wrongly titled "Brewers Castle" (vinyl labels).

Catalogue number differences: "SFJL 915" (sleeve spine/obi strip/info sheet) / "SFJL915" (sleeve back) / "SFJL.915" (vinyl labels).

"Written By" roles as per vinyl labels, "Written-By" roles as per sleeve/info sheet.

The title "Cleopatra's Needle" refers to the Egyptian obelisk of the same name in Westminster, London, and appears in photos on the back and front album covers that also feature Ronnie Ross and unknown woman pictured underneath it. It's one of three obelisks, each in the cities of London, Paris, and New York.

Ronnie appears on this album as sole band leader for the first time. The album was recorded over two sessions [line-ups listed on back of sleeve], one a sextet, the other a quintet.

Track "U69" is dedicated by Les Condon to a microphone (presumably one he liked!). Ronnie wrote three of the tracks: "Dolphin Square" is dedicated to party, at which artist Zoot Sims was present, once held in a flat there [Pimlico, London SW1]; "Cleopatra's Needle", described as 'an old fashioned 20-bar blues'; and "Smiling Jack", a nickname for Zoot Sims (one Zoot doesn't like to be called by!). "Tibufa" is intricately derived by assembling syllables taken from certain parts of the human anatomy, and is by Art Elefsen [sic]. [all mentioned in sleeve notes.]
